Positive Crankcase Ventilation: Service and Repair

Air Admission Housing R And R:

1. Unscrew engine compartment panel at bottom and at left side.
2. Remove serpentine belt.
3. Remove serpentine belt tensioner.
4. Remove delivery line from power steering pump.
5. Remove power steering pump from bracket and place to the side.

Air Admission Hose (43) And Combination Support (17):

6. Remove A/C compressor with piping connected by unscrewing bolts (35).
7. Remove air admission hose (43) from combination support (17).

Housing Bolts (32):

8. Remove engine air admission housing by unscrewing bolts (32).
9. Clean housing and sealing surfaces.
10. renew gasket.
11. Install in reverse order.
12. Run engine and check for leaks.
