Function
Terminating a call
If a call has been conducted using the telephone handset (A34) or the portable CTEL (A34/6) , there are a number of ways to terminate the call:
- Hanging the telephone handset (A34) in mount (fixed installation)
- Pressing the End key
If a call has been conducted via the hands-free system there are also a number of possibilities to end the call:
- Pressing the End key
- picking up and putting down the telephone handset (A34) (permanently installed)
- On vehicles with voice control system (VCS) (code 813b): Actuate VCS switch (S93/2)
- On vehicles with multifunction steering wheel: Actuate accept/ terminate phone call button (S111s3)
Shutting off
The unit can be switched off by pressing the OFF button and removing the card.
During this operation ensure that the card is removed only with the unit switched off in order to prevent destruction of the chip on the SIM card (Subscriber Identification Module).
Moreover, it may be necessary to end the PIN code ( Personal Identification Number) again when restarted (depending on system).
