Top Dead Center Sensor

Checking/Setting TDC Sensor:

The engine is equipped with two top dead center sensors (L1/1 and L1/2) that recognize TDC for #1 or #7 cylinder. The TDC sensor signal can be accessed through pin 7,8 and 9 at the left or right 9-pole diagnostic connector (X11/2 or X11/3). The sensors are not connected to any control module, they are provided for test equipment hook-up only.
