Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Description and Operation

PURPOSE AND LOCATION
The pressure sensor (connection 4 in image), located in the EZL/AKR control module (N1/4 and N1/5), detects the intake manifold pressure. This signal is sent from the EZL/AKR control modules to the LH control modules via the controller area network (CAN).

This information is used for the following:
^ Engine start-up to about 600 RPM
^ "Limp home mode" when air mass sensor is defective
