Condenser Fan Resistor: Description and Operation

The auxiliary fan preresistor serves for switching the auxiliary fans (M4m1, M4m2).

The auxiliary fans are controlled by the pushbutton control module, the [1][2]auxiliary fan relay and auxiliary fan preresistor. All models with air conditioning are equipped with two auxiliary fans. The current consumption is 25 A at a battery voltage of 13 V in stage 2. The auxiliary fans are fused with fuse (F2-13), 30 A.
