ALL MODELS USING EXCHANGE TRANSMISSION 722.3/4 (EXCEPT TRANSMISSION 722.362 [ENGINE 120]

As of June 1994, the exchange transmission housing bore for piston B2 is reworked upon reaching its wear limit.

As a result, a modified piston seal ring (of greater outer diameter) for piston B2 is required.

The modified piston seal ring is identified by an index number (/59) after the part number.





The exchange transmission 722.3/4 housings are identified by an engraved
"(diameter) 89 or (diameter) 76" within the piston B2 housing bore (arrows, Figure 1).

Repair note:
^ A modified piston B2 seal must be installed when reassembling exchange transmissions 722.3/4 which have the transmission housing engraved with "(diameter) 89 or (diameter) 76" within the piston B2 housing bore.
