The above mentioned Service Information introduced the following drainage pipe kits:

102 200 08 52
103 200 20 52
117 200 00 52
119 200 O1 52
The purpose of these kits is to avoid visible streaks of coolant residue in the coolant pump area. For details, please see Service Information 20/48.
According to our records, the usage of these kits to resolve complaints regarding those streaks has been very limited on vehicles in new and used car warranty. We urge you to increase the installation rate of these kits thereby reducing the number of water pump replacements.
As of repair date September 1, 1994, we will actively debit warranty claims, including used car claims, for water pump replacements if our parts inspection, reveals that the installation of the drainage pipe kit could have resolved the customers complaint.
Please inform all responsible personnel in order to avoid warranty claim debits.
