01/95-2 ENGINE VALVES:

As of late 6/94, new valves for engines M111, M104 and M120 have been phased into production. The coating of the new valves was changed from chromium plating to a nitrate treatment. At the same time, the sodium filling of the exhaust valves has been dropped. The new valves are interchangeable with the old version. Engine M119 still has sodium filled exhaust valves.
