Accelerator Pedal: Description and Operation
Throttle Cable/linkage:
W/O ASR
The accelerator pedal allows the driver to adjust the amount of engine output dependant upon varying power demands. As the pedal is pushed towards the floor the throttle linkage assembly is actuated, opening the throttle valve and giving the cruise control/idle speed actuator a throttle position signal.
WITH ASR
