General Information

Engine block heaters are now available for the listed models. The Work Instructions no. 269 describes the installation of the block heater.

As with all diesel models since model year 1986, model 140.134 (300 SD) is equipped with a factory-installed engine block heater as standard equipment. The electrical cable and the heat shield for the block heater, however, are not installed. The procedure for attaching and routing the cable, and for installing the heat shield, is described in part "C" of the Work Instructions.

Note:
Owners of diesel models are entitled to free installation of the electrical cable/heat shield for a period of 12 months from original date-of-delivery.
