Radiator: Service and Repair



Preparation
- Fan shroud removed.

Removal and Installation





- Drain coolant from radiator. Service and Repair
- Detach coolant hoses (9), (10), (11) and (12), attach.
- If automatic transmission fitted: unbolt oil lines (7) and (8), bolt on.
Tighten to: 20 Nm.
- Remove air scoop, install. Fuel Delivery and Air Induction
- Unbolt strut (1) and cross member (2), bolt on.
- Slacken bracket, line of air conditioner at bottom left, bolt on.
- Unbolt condenser (3) at radiator (4), bolt on.
- Raise condenser (3), lift out of mountings (4b) at radiator (4).
Installation note: Fit on both rubber pads (4a) at bottom of condenser (3), stick on. When installing radiator, raise condenser (3) and insert into catches (4b) on radiator (4).
- Remove radiator (4) upward, install.

Installation Note: The securing studs of the radiator must be inserted into the rubber pads (19) of the bottom cross member.

- Fill cooling system.
- If automatic transmission fitted: check oil level of automatic transmission, adjust to correct level.
- Check cooling system for leaks. Testing and Inspection
