REINFORCED IGNITION DISTRIBUTOR ROTOR





In order to prevent ignition rotor breakage and ignition voltage burn-through, a reinforced ignition distributor rotor was phased into production as of June 1991.





When replacing the previous rotor (Figure 1) with the modified version (Figure 2), a new rotor bracket, part no. 119 158 06 40, must also be installed.

Failure to do so will result in damage to the new rotor during installation.





Note:
The part number of the rotor is located on the front of the rotor (1, Figures 1 and 2).
