The Sear diagnostic adaptor 43-322 for dual ignition systems (Figure 1) is now available. The adaptor is designed to replace the diagnostic and secondary lead cables on the 40-960 D.A.C.E. engine analyzer. Currently, the adaptor is only suitable for 8 cylinder engines, since the version which includes the 12 cylinder engine is still undergoing final testing. The initial 8 cylinder version of the adaptor will be upgraded to include the 12 cylinder engine by inserting a circuit board in the adaptor. When available, this upgrade will be performed by a local Bear representative at no charge.
