Cruise Control Module: Service and Repair

Removing and Installing Control Module:





Battery ground cable
Disconnect, connect.

Nuts M6 (1) on cruise control module (N4/2)
Loosen, tighten.

Cruise control module (N4/2) with bolts M6x15 and nuts M6 (1)
Remove from control module bracket (2). Assemble and remove 14-pin coupling of cruise control wiring harness from control module, Plug in.

Note: When replacing the control module, remove the bolts M6x15 and nuts (1) from the control module which has been removed and re-use for installing the new control module.
Fit new cruise control reference resistor (R29) before installing the new control module.
When replacing a defective control module, always check the adjustment of the connecting rod. Adjustments

Function test
Perform on road.


Removing and Installing Reference Resistor:





Battery ground cable
Detach, connect.

Nuts M6 (1) on cruise control module (N4/2)
Loosen, tighten.

Cruise control module (N4/2) with M6x15 bolts and M6 nuts (1)
Remove from control module bracket (2), assemble.

Cruise control reference resistor (R29) at cruise control module (N4/2)
Press side holders and pull off, push on.

Function test
Perform on road.
