Condenser Fan: Description and Operation

The auxiliary fan (M4) serves for cooling the refrigerant

The auxiliary fan (M4) is switched on and off in relation to the refrigerant pressure and/or coolant temperature with infinite speed adjustment.

The pushbutton control module receives the coolant temperature value from the A/C coolant temperature sensor and the refrigerant pressure from the refrigerant pressure sensor. This input information is relayed on to the auxiliary fan control module by the pushbutton control module.

The auxiliary fan control module processes this information comparing it with stored values. The calculated fan speed is then relayed on to the auxiliary fan.
