The central locking system can be locked or unlocked centrally from the driver and front passenger door and from the trunk lid by operating the key. The central locking system can also be locked or unlocked via the interior CL switch (S85) if the vehicle was previously unlocked from outside. When a front door is opened, the vehicle unlocks centrally, if it was previously locked via the interior central locking switch. All the doors, the trunk lid and the tank flap are incorporated in the central locking system.
NOTES: The central locking system (CL), anti-theft warning system (ATA) and convenience feature (CF) can no longer be actuated with the mechanical key on vehicles with infrared remote control for the central locking system as of 01/94 (except (USA) (J) ).
The pneumatic system equipment (PSE) (A37) has an electrical output (pin 7 to plug 1) for the actuation of the immobilizer relay (K38) for the function of the stage 1 immobilizer as of 01/94 up to 11/94.
