IFI Engine Stop Task/Design/Function

Task
Switching off the engine if ignition "OFF", i.e. moving fuel rack of the IFI fuel quantity actuator (Y23/1) and the IFI electrohydraulic shutoff (Y1/1) into "STOP" position.

Function
After the key in the steering lock is turned into "STOP" position, the IFI electrohydraulic shutoff (Y1/1) is actuated by the self holding circuit in the IFI control module (N3/7). The IFI control module (N3/7) checks whether the engine has stopped running. After this, IFI electrohydraulic shutoff (Y1/1) is again engaged. This procedure is necessary in order to check operation of the IFI electrohydraulic shutoff (Y1/1).
