INSTALLATION OF CELLULAR TELEPHONE (CTEL) SYSTEM

Included in this Service Information are the Work Instructions (no. 356A and no. 367) for installation of the cellular telephone (CTEL) system in model 210, model year 1997.

NAM Programming Guide S-2499-95B is valid for M.Y. 1997 model 210 with Mobile CTEL.

The installation of a Mercedes-Benz cellular telephone (CTEL) prior to or at time of retail must be reported through VISTA when the vehicle sale is reported. All subsequent installations must be registered by sending a CELLULAR TELEPHONE INSTALLATION/WARRANTY REGISTRATION form to MBNA, Warranty Operations. For details refer to page 3-9 of the Warranty Policy and Procedures Manual.

Note:
The transfer of a telephone system, from one vehicle to another, voids the warranty.
