REPLACEMENT OF CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (L5) CONNECTOR

In vehicles equipped with engine 104 and engine 111 using the ME-SF 2.1 system. it is possible for water to enter the 2-pole connector for the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor (L5) (arrow. Figures 1 and 2), located at the top rear of the crankcase near the starter ring gear. This will cause engine running complaints.

An improved repair solution is now available, which consists of a repair harness kit.
