REMOVAL

NOTE:
^ The vehicle must be on its wheels for removing the upper shock absorber fixing.
^ Numbers in parentheses ( ) indicate a component or tool in the associated illustration.


1. Remove upper shock absorber nut (11a).
- Counterhold piston rod using Allen wrench (WAF5)
2. Raise vehicle
3. Detach shock absorber (11) from wishbone (31) and remove downwards
4. Check shock absorber.

INSTALLATION
- Install in reverse order, noting the following:
- Replace self-locking nuts
- Tighten the following components as noted:
- Self-locking nut for attaching shock absorber to front end: 40 Nm
- Self-locking nut for attaching shock absorber to wishbone: 100 Nm
