Campaign No. 96-0521 is initiated because MBAG has determined that Mercedes-Benz anti-corrosion wax, part no. 000 986 33 70, must be applied to the inside of the rear axle sub-frame longitudinal tubes on affected vehicles listed in the attached Effective Serial Number List.

This campaign must be performed during the next scheduled maintenance or service.

Approximately 393 vehicles are affected. Prior to performing the campaign, check the VMI.
