INSTALLATION OF CD CHANGER

Included in this Service Information Work Instructions no. 370 and 371 describe the installation of the CD changer in model year 1998 model 129 and 210 (Station Wagon) vehicles.

Registration:

Installation of all MB CD changers must be reported to MBNA. Installation prior to or at time of retail MUST be recorded through VISTA when the vehicle sale is reported. However, once the vehicle has been reported sold, all subsequent installations must be registered by sending a CD CHANGER INSTALLATION / WARRANTY REGISTRATION form to Mercedes-Benz of North America, Inc., Warranty Operations. Please photocopy form shown in section 3 of the Warranty Policy and Procedures Manual.

If the installation of a MB CD changer is not registered with MBNA Warranty Operations, future claims for the unit will be denied.

Note:
The transfer of units from one vehicle to another, voids the warranty.
