Cranking Engine Using A Remote Starter Button

PRECEDING WORK
Hood opened, raised to vertical position.

PROCEDURE





Covers on left and right over DI control modules (N1/4 and N1/5):
Take off:
Fit on.
Connector of crankshaft position sensor (L5/4 and L5/5) of both DI control modules (N1/4 and N1/5):
Unplug
Plug in.
Engine:
Crank with ignition switch (S2/1).
Fault memory of DI control module (N1/4 and N1/5):
Read (refer to Powertrain Management)
