Remove/Install Rear Blower Motor (Models with Rear A/C)

Pressure in cooling system
Release, by turning the radiator cap up to detent "1" and close again.

Coolant
Drain, by removing front right panelling (beneath the circulation unit for rear air conditioner) (6 screws). Close supply and return hoses, blow out residual coolant from the heat exchanger with compressed air.





Control unit for rear air conditioner
Remove. Service and Repair

Center console
Remove. Service and Repair

Supply and return lines (c and d)
Remove from heat exchanger (screws 23).





Plug connections on the heat exchanger temperature sensors B10/9 and B10/10
Pull off.

Electrical harness in area of rear air conditioner
Expose.

Blower housing
Remove (6 clips).

Blower controller (N29/2)
Remove (1 screw).

Blower housing
Dismantle (4 clips).

Blower
Remove (1 screw - internal hexagon 3).

Install
In reverse sequence, perform function check before installing center console.
