Ventilation

Ventilation, Function:

Function
The ventilation
- keeps the windows from fogging up
- Supply of fresh air for vehicle passengers.
- helps to quickly achieve and maintain a uniform and pleasant temperature in the passenger compartment.

Ventilation of the passenger compartment is supported by the blower for the air conditioning (automatic) during normal operation, when the vehicle is standing still or when an increased air flow rate is required.

Fresh air is sucked in through the air inlet in the engine hood and through the fresh air flap in the AC housing. The air flows through the air ducts to the air outlets in the passenger compartment depending on the pushbutton control module setting in the recirculated air mode air is sucked in from the passenger compartment by the blower through the recirculated air flap and transferred to the AC housing.

The air flows through the ventilation slots below the rearshelf into the trunk and exits the vehicle through the rear vents.
