Unnecessary Replacement of Air Conditioning Blower Motor
If you receive customer reports in the above models regarding poor or no operation of the air conditioning blower motor, trial install just the regulator before replacing the blower motor. Testing has found that in almost all cases when the blower motor is replaced together with the regulator, the blower motor is replaced unnecessarily. As of repair date October 27, 2003, all blower motors will be tested and if no fault is found, the blower will be returned and the claim will be debited.
