Odometer: Description and Operation

Reseting Odometer Reading







NOTE: It is possible to set the odometer display only once during the first 300 km/miles or 10 km in the case of the CDN version


1 Turn key in steering lock to position "2"
2 Press knob (1) and hold
- A signal sounds after about 10 s and the display is set to 000000

3 Turn key to position "0" and then back to position "2"
- "Prog" appears in the trip counter display 0..... appears in the odometer display

4 Release knob (1)
5 Pull out knob (2) and turn to the left in direction of arrow
- Digit of 1st position is set to 1

6 Release knob (2), pull out again and turn to the left
- Digit of 1st position is set to 2
- Repeat operation until the desired digit is set


NOTE: The digit 0 must be set after 9


7 Pull out knob (2) and turn to the right in opposite direction of arrow
- The digit 0 appears in the 2nd position
- Set desired digit as described for setting the 1st position
- To set the desired digits for positions 3 to 6, proceed as described for the 1st and 2nd positions


NOTE: Only even digits e.g.. 0, 2..... can be set in the 6th position


8 Store odometer reading; press knob (1) to do this and turn key to position "0"
9 Release knob (1)
10 Check setting; turn key to position "2" to do this
- If entry is incomplete or if odometer entry of more than 300 km/miles or 10 km for (CDN) version, counter is set to 000000 when stored. Repeat setting.
