Test prerequisite
- Coolant temperature:>80° C
Test sequence
- Switch off ignition.
- Connect socket box (35-pin) to component N3/10 (ME-SFI [ME] control unit).
- Connect socket box (126-pin) to component N3/10 (ME-SFI [ME] control unit).
- Measure direct voltage with multimeter between socket (5.9) 9 of the 35-pole socket box tester and socket (3.39) 72 of the 126-pole socket box tester.
- Engage gear D.Drive vehicle in gear 2 at an engine speed of 2000 1/min ... 2500 1/min and a load of 2500N on the roller dynamometer.
Component Y49/1 (Left camshaft timing solenoid) is actuated clocked.Status of the relevant actual values:
