Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair

Radiator
loosen.

Air conditioning system
drain (recycle).

Signal horns
loosen (1 nut each) and lay to side.

Radiator bridge
remove (6 bolts).

Cable strap (arrow)
loosen.

Plug connector (M4 x 1)
disconnect.

Radiator with condenser
remove.

Box frame
remove. Press out 6 clips (1).

Plug connectors (M4 x 1 M4 x 2)
disconnect.

Cable strap (arrow)
loosen.

Auxiliary fan
remove from condenser. 3 boils (2), observe Note.

Condenser
remove from radiator. 3 bolts (3), observe Note.

Install
in opposite order.

Note on auxiliary fan
Perform electrical function test on auxiliary fan (direction of rotation) before fastening radiator in body.

Note on condenser
If the condenser is not reinstalled immediately, flush condenser with nitrogen then close connections with plugs. When renewing the condenser fill with 20 cubic centimeter of refrigerant oil.
