GF07.61-P-4023KE ME-SFI Transmission Shift Delay, Function
GF07.61-P-4023KE ME-SFI Transmission Shift Delay, Function
- with TRANSMISSION 722.6
- up to model year 08
Component Identification:
The transmission shift delay is designed to warm up the catalytic converters more rapidly to operating temperature after engine start. The transmission shift delay is performed completely electronically in combination with the automatic transmission (722.6). No additional components are required.
The ME-SFI control unit requests the ETC control unit via the CAN data bus to alter the gear shift curves. Partial load gear shifts (1-2-1, 2-3-2) thus take place at higher engine speeds or at higher vehicle speeds.
The transmission shift delay is active for max. 160 seconds, if:
^ Coolant temperature at start <50 °C
^ Speed <53 km/h
