MODELS 203.2 up to 23.4.04
Function prerequisites:
- Circuit 15R ON
Function sequence
The rear window washer function is switched on by pressing the rear window wiper switch (N72/1s12) downward.
The signal is read in by the upper control panel control unit (N72/1) and transmitted to the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) via the class B Controller Area Network (interior) (CAN-B).
Then the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) actuates the rear window wiper motor (M6/4) and the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) the rear window washer pump (M5/3) .
The rear end door washer fluid pump (M5/3) is actuated as long the rear-end door wiper switch (N72/1s12) is pressed. While the rear-end door washer water pump (M5/3) is operating the rear window wiper is operated in continuous wiping mode.
Follow-up wiping
When the rear-end door wiper switch (N72/1s12) is no longer actuated and the washing cycle continuous wiping of the rear window is terminated the rear-end wiper motor (M6/4) is actuated for two follow-up wiping cycles of the rear wiper by the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
The washing operation always has priority over the rear window washer system intermittent mode.
