AR83.25-P-1100M Remove/Install Heat Exchanger
DANGER:
- Risk of injury to skin and eyes from scalding with hot coolant which splashes out. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.
- Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 degrees C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles.
- Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.
- Risk of explosion from welding or soldering work on closed air conditioning system. Risk of poisoning from inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury from skin and eye contact with liquid refrigerant.
- Do not carry out any welding work on the closed air conditioning system or in the surrounding area. No smoking or open flames. Wear eye protection and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated areas. Carry out repair work on the air conditioning system circuit only after the system has been discharged.
CAUTION: Protect air conditioning circuit and components from moisture when carrying out repair work.
1 Drain air conditioning (recycle)
CAUTION: Replenish extracted quantity of compressor oil in the refrigerant circuit (fresh oil) when filling the air conditioning system.
NOTE: Installation: Evacuate air conditioning system, fill, inspect for leaks.
- Before filling the air conditioning system, Replace receiver/drier
2 Remove AC housing
3 Unclip clamps (4)
4 Unscrew screws (2)
5 Take off cover (3)
6 Detach retaining clamps (5) on heating water flow pipe
7 Remove screws (6) of heating water flow pipe's bracket
8 Remove screws (7) of heating water flow pipe's guide
9 Pull out heat exchanger (8) with the heating water pipes
NOTE: Clean heater housing from inside, if necessary remove escaping coolant.
10 Detach socket yoke (9), remove heating water flow pipe (c)
CAUTION: Fit new O-rings and replace socket yoke.
11 Remove bracket screw (10) and detach heating water flow pipe (d)
CAUTION: Fit new O-rings.
12 Install in the reverse order.
