Communications Platform: DTC D003
In the above model vehicles, when reading the fault codes of the Communications Platform (CP), please disregard the following code as it does not indicate a problem with the CP. No action needs to be taken.
D003 Electric wake-up of the control unit failed
D003 will also trigger the following three additional codes in the CP:
DA00 Fault present in control module CTEL
D800 Fault present in control module CTEL
D900 Fault present in control module CTEL
The aforementioned codes can also be ignored, if and only if, D003 is the ONLY other code present. If other codes are present, please investigate further.
The DTC D003 will not be displayed in the fault memory as of DAS version 04/2003.
