TeleAid: No Audio Mute When Information, Roadside or SOS Button is Pressed

If you receive customer reports with respect to the subject vehicles of cases where the Information, Roadside or SOS button is pressed and the following events occur:

1. Audio does not mute.

2. Head unit display does not recognize call is made (e.g. remains in radio or CD mode).

3. Call does not connect with response center.

Please perform the following measures. Connect SDS and check the Control Unit Version of the Audio 50 head unit using the path:

1. Control units

2. Information and communication

3. Audio, video, navigation, and telematics

4. COMAND/AUDIO

Select Control unit version found in the menu. If the following values of the control unit version DO NOT match, the Audio 50 head unit needs to be replaced.

^ Version (internal) - BR211_HU_Mid_USA

There are cases in the field where the Audio 50 head units are labeled with the US part number, but are programmed with the European version software. Since a flash procedure does not exist to change the software, part replacement is required.
