Info Call, Function

The info call is triggered manually by the driver. By selecting the corresponding menu (info service) on the telephone handset a connection is automatically completed to the Mercedes Customers Assistance Center (CAC) from the CTEL and TELE AID transmitter/receiver, D2B (A35/17) via the mobile telephone system (GSM 900 MHz). This pure voice connection can be used to check all available information in context with the vehicle and is not subject to any fees.

These could be questions about:
- operating the vehicle
- Mercedes-Benz Card services
- Information on Daimler Chrysler
- Inquiries on technical and service related subjects
- Leasing or financing offers
- Information brochures on accessories.
