AN82.70-P-0002-05R Retrofit Bracket For Portable CTEL (Telephone)

1 Open center armrest and unclip cover (2) from stowage shell (1) (retaining lugs - see arrows).







2 Break preperforated cutout out of stowage shell (1) (see arrow)
3 Route antenna lead (3) with straight connector through cutout in stowage shell (1).
4 Clip connector housing (4b) of data line (4) into stowage shell (1) cutout from rear (see magnified section).

Use data line (4) with a length of 490 mm.







5 Unscrew screws (6) and press hinge lever (5L) slightly to side.
6 Clip data line (4) into cutout of left hinge lever (5l) (see arrows)

Do not damage data line (4).

7 Fasten hinge lever (5L) with screws (6).







8 Clip cable guide (7) with data line (4) into bracket and route as shown in figure
9 Route circuit 15C telephone connector 15C (X39/40) through left passage in armrest (see magnified section).
10 Clip data line (4) into retaining lug (see arrow).







11 Unscrew screws (8) and slightly press hinge lever (5R) to side
12 Clip antenna lead (3) into cutout of right hinge lever (5R) (see arrows).

Do not damage antenna lead (3).

13 Fasten hinge lever (5R) with screws (8).

Component Identification:

14 Clip cable guide (7) with antenna lead (3) into bracket and route as shown in figure.
15 Insert portable CTEL telephone connector (X39/39) into right passage of armrest and tighten (see magnified section).
16 Clip white marking of antenna lead (3) into retaining lug (see arrow).







17 Install portable CTEL bracket(10) on retaining plate (9) wit two 3X10 mm countersunk screws (11).

Screw holes are present.







18 Insert lines (13, 14) of portable CTEL (12) into provided locking slots of retaining plate.
19 Install strain-relief clamp at this point (X).







20 Remove coin holder (16) from stowage shell.
21 Cut preperforated cutouts (15) out of coin holder (16).







22 Adapt antenna lead (3) to lead (14) and insert into arresting slots (arrows) of retaining plate (9).
23 Adapt lead (13) to connector housing (4b) .







24 Insert portable CTEL (12) into portable CTEL mount.
25 Lay retaining plate (9) into stowage shell (1).

Do not kink or pinch the lines.

26 Insert coin holder (16) and fasten.







27 Fasten retaining plate in stowage shell (1) with four 3X8 mm countersunk screws (17) (right figure).

Screw holes are preperforated.

28 Clip cover (2) into stowage shell (1) (retaining lugs - see arrows).










29 Position armrest on center duct.
30 Connect circuit 15C telephone connector 15C (X39/40) and clip into armrest bracket.
31 Connect portable CTEL connector (X39/39).







32 Arrest portable CTEL (A34/6) in portable cellular telephone holder (12)
