When the vehicle is moving forwards, only the front sensors and front warning indicators are active.

Detection range:
Vehicle center: approx 100 cm
Outside of vehicle: approx 60 cm

If the distance of an obstacle is less than approx. 20 cm from the center of the vehicle and approx. 15 cm from the outside of the vehicle, the system no longer receives defined readings.
The detection area is divided into a left and a right sector, each with three sensors and a visual/acoustic warning indicator.
The side sensors detect obstacles at the sides of the vehicle, e.g. high curbs, walls, bushes, posts, signs etc. A warning may be displayed, therefore, even if the obstacle is not directly in front of the vehicle.
