Lines Displayed In Instrument Cluster

If you encounter instances in the above model where the vehicle's instrument cluster displays dashed lines throughout the odometer, after diagnosing the vehicle's SBC system with STAR Diagnosis, perform the following.


1) Using STAR Diagnosis enter the following menus: [Control Units-->Chassis-->SBC-->Activate Warning Buzzer In Instrument Cluster].

Note:
In the Sensotronic Brake Control (SBC), the display and warning buzzer in the instrument cluster (IC) are deactivated during diagnosis with DAS. Deactivation remains active even after conclusion of the diagnostic session. The result is that only lines are indicated in the instrument cluster's odometer display.
