Front Wheel Brake Shudders During Braking
If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of front wheel brake shudder during braking, replace the brake disks with revised parts (not necessary to replace brake pads). Reference the following WIS documents for brake disk removal/installation instructions: AR42.10-P-0220R models 211 and 230, and AR42.10-P-02201 models 220 and 215. Brake disks may only be replaced in pairs.
Note:
The brake shudder is the result of excessive thermal loads on the brake disk. The revised brake disks have a smaller cooling duct and therefore greater heat storage capacity.
