Purpose
Receiving AM signals:
- The antenna converts the radio frequency (RF) oscillation in the electrical field in the air to a high-frequency alternating voltage in an electrical conductor.

Design
The antenna is bedded between the two glass panes in the rear window. The antenna system is completely separated from the rear window heater and thereby electrically decoupled completely.
