Function
The heated seats (HS) has two heating stages. At heating stage 1 the heated seat (HS) is pulsed at a frequency of 24 Hz and an active time of 33%, and at heating stage 2 the heated seat (HS) is permanently on. If both heated seats (HS) are switched to stage 1, the pulse/pause ratio for the two sides is controlled by the upper control panel control unit (N72/1) such that the active phase of one side takes place whilst the other side is in the off phase.

The upper control panel control unit (N72/1) controls the varying electrical power consumption of the heated seats (HS) in terms of the heating stages and heating duration.

The left front HS switch (N72/1s10) and the right front HS switch (N72/1s11) of the heated seats are designed as buttons and automatically return to their initial position after being actuated. Two light emitting diodes in the left front HS switch (N72/1s10) and the right front HS switch (N72/1s11) indicate the respective switching status of the heated seats (HS).
