Detaching

1 Apply parking brake
2 Slacken and remove twelve-point collar nut (12) for attaching rear axle shaft.

Mount on and secure

Replace twelve-point collar nut (12). In order to guarantee that the twelve-point collar nut is held securely.
3 Tighten twelve-point collar nut (12).
4 Use caulker to secure twelve-point collar nut (12) with no residual gap between the groove and the securing tabs (arrow).
5 Release parking brake.
