Component Identification:

Pushing off

1 Unscrew self-locking nut of supporting joint (7) in lower transverse control arm (4).
2 Attach thrust piece (07a).
3 Use puller (046) to pry off supporting joint (7).

Do not damage rubber boot, as otherwise lubricant may leak from supporting joint (7) and this will lead to increased wear.

4 Remove puller (046) and thrust piece (07a).

Installation
5 Clean tapered connection.

The cone and thread must be free of grease and oil

6 Replace self-locking nut and screw on.

Counter ball head with an Allen wrench if necessary.
