E. Installing the push-to-talk (PTT) stalk





1. Remove the plug on the steering column covering the mounting hole for the PTT stalk (Figure 20).





2. Insert the PTT stalk into the mounting hole by rotating the stalk until its grooves interlock with the teeth of the mounting hole, making sure to push the stalk completely into the mounting hole (Figure 21).
