B - Service Schedule




Service B

Brake system
- Perform brake test on test stand.
- Enter brake values in kilo-newton:

Vehicle interior
Function test
- Horn, headlamp flashers, hazard warning flasher, turn signal indicators
- Indicator lamps, symbol illumination and interior illumination
- Front and rear lights
- Check windshield wipers, windshield washer system
- Headlamp cleaning system
- Check seat belts and buckles for signs of external damage and proper function

- Reset service indicator in instrument cluster
- Replace dust filter

Wheels, brakes
- Remove and mount wheels. Rotate wheels if necessary (except vehicles with mixed tires)
- Check thickness of brake pads, front and rear
- Check thickness and condition of brake discs, front and rear
- Check tires for damage and crack formation
- Measure tread depth, enter in millimeters
- Correct the tire inflation pressure and enter in bar or psi

Underside of vehicle
- Check all visible parts for leaks and damage.
In event of fluid loss, determine cause and correct subject to separate repair order

- Check play of front axle joints, inspect rubber boots
- Check track rod and drag link linkage for play, check rubber boots

Engine compartment
- Check all visible parts for leaks and damage.
In event of fluid loss, determine cause and correct subject to separate repair order

- Engine oil and filter change

Check and correct fluid level
- Engine cooling system, anticorrosion/antifreeze
- Brake system
- Power steering
- Active Body Control
If fluid loss is discovered, ascertain and rectify the cause as a separate repair order.
- Windshield washer system

- Check visible area of poly-v-belt for wear
- Clean water drain in air/water duct
- Check the lock and safety hooks of the engine hood

Vehicle front end, vehicle rear end
- Check headlamp range adjustment for proper operation
Vehicles with manual headlamp range adjustment

- Check and correct headlamp setting
With xenon headlamps: correct, subject to a separate invoice

- Check condition of wiper blades
Replace subject to a separate invoice

Trunk

Check and correct fluid level
- Battery
Except with maintenance free installed

- Check/correct tire pressure of spare wheel and enter in bar or psi
- Check trunk lighting
