C. Installing the Telephone Cradle and Holder

1. Open the right, upper compartment of the center console.





2. Remove the mounting tray for the holder by removing the T6 Torx screw from the front (A, Figure 11) and T10 Torx screw from the rear (B, Figure 11) of the tray.





3. Drill two 5-mm holes in the semi-punched holes on the underside of the mounting tray for the holder (Figure 12).

Note:
Notice one side has two semi-punched holes; drill the inside semi-punched hole.





4. Mount the holder to the mounting tray with two T15 Torx screws inserted from the tray underside, into the threaded holes in the holder underside (Figure 13).

Note:
Be sure the holder gray release button is facing front.

5. Open the left, upper compartment of the center console.





6. Remove the two plastic screw covers on the left (A, Figure 14), and the adhesive screw cover on the right (B, Figure 14).

7. Remove the three exposed T10 Torx screws securing the false floor of the Tele Aid button assembly.

Note:
Be careful not to damage the leather on the right, lower corner of the right compartment cover when removing the false floor.





8. To avoid scratching the leather console and seat, disconnect the connector from the Tele Aid button assembly and place the false floor in a safe place (Figure 15).





9. Route the coil-cord power and FAKRA connectors through the tube on the compartment floor (A, Figure 16).

10. Lift the front of the female FAKRA connector for the coil-cord out of the clip (B, Figure 16).

11. Remove the FAKRA connector from the clip (C, Figure 16).





12. Connect the coil-cord power connector to the harness receptacle and push the conjoined connectors into the clip (A, Figure 17).

Note:
Make sure the connectors "snap" together and into the clip.

13. Connect the male and female FAKRA connectors and snap the conjoined connectors into the clip (B, Figure 17).

14. Carefully and neatly, route the FAKRA cables so none are pinched or crushed when reinstalling the false floor (Figure 17).

15. Reconnect the Tele Aid button assembly connector.

16. Reinstall the false floor in reverse order of removal.





Reinstall the holder/tray assembly in reverse order of removal and place the cradle in the holder (Figure 18).





Install the battery insert plate marked "FOR USE WITH SLIM BATTERY" when using the slim battery (500 mAh) with your V60 telephone (Figure 19).

Note:
The embossed text on the installed battery insert plate must face up as in Figure 19.





17. Install the battery insert plate marked FOR USE WITH HIGH PERFORMANCE BATTERY" when using the high performance battery (800 mAh) with your V60 telephone (Figure 20).

Note:
The embossed text on the installed battery insert plate must face up as in Figure 20.





18. Remove the battery insert plate when using the extra capacity battery (1100 mAh) with your V60 telephone (Figure 21).





19. Place the cradle in the holder and the telephone in the cradle (Figure 22).
