Lighting - Headlamp/Fog Lamp Aim Too High or Low

Headlamp Low Beam or Fog Lamp Is Always Either Too High or Too Low

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles that the headlamp low beam or fog lamp is always either too high or too low regardless of how the headlamp is adjusted, the mechanical connector between the low beam and fog lamp may be disconnected. It is not necessary to replace the headlamp unit. Perform the following to resolve.





1. Adjust fog lamp using vertical adjusting screw (Figure 1).





2. Unclip fog lamp vertical adjustment screw (Figure 2) by pulling upwards.

3. Adjust low beam using vertical adjustment screw.

4. Push down on fog lamp vertical adjustment screw to clip back in place.

The following allowable labor operations should be used when submitting a warranty claim for this repair
