Purpose
Reception and amplification of the global positioning system (GPS) satellite signals.

Design
The GPS antenna consists of a micro-wave antenna (reception frequency in giga Hz range) and an (integrated) antenna amplifier. The power is supplied via the co-axial antenna cable (phantom supply).
