Control of audio functions
After activation of the system with the VCS switch (S93/2), the user has a number of possibilities for completing the desired audio connection, assuming that the radio function is switched on.

To call the desired audio function (radio, CD, cassette), following commands are possible.
1 Switching on radio component:
- Switch on radio/Switch radio on

2.1 Switching on CD component (CD player)
- CD/CD on/Switch on CD/Switch CD on

2.2 Switching on CD component (CD player):
- CD player/CD player on/Switch on CD player/Switch CD player on

2.3 Switching on CD component (CDC = CD changer)
- CDC/CDC on/Switch on CDC/Switch CDC on
3 Switching on cassette components:
- Cassette/Cassette on/Switch on cassette/Cassette on

If the user is then in the Dialog mode with the desired audio function, the following commands are available for control within the system.

Radio commands
When the radio has been activated with VCS Radio/Radio on/Switch on radio/Switch radio on):
- Station search, search
- Different station
- Next station
- Find different station
- Frequency XXXXX Megahertz
- XXXXX Megahertz
- Frequency XXXXX
- Store station (when station list present)
- Select station (when station list present)
- Read station list (when station list is present)
- Read stations (when station list is present)
- Delete station list (when station list is present)
- Delete station
- Traffic radio on/Switch on traffic radio/Traffic radio off
- UFH/FM/Long wave/Middle wave/Short wave
- Help/Help radio

A personal station list can be stored with the commands listed above when station list is present. The sequence is the same as creating a personal telephone book, however, with the commands listed above.

CD commands
When the CD player has been activated with the VCS CD player/CD player on/Switch on CD player/Switch CD player on):
- CD number xx (when changer present)
- Insert CD number xx (when changer present)
- Select CD number xx (when changer present)
- Next CD (when changer present)
- Select next CD/Insert next CD (when changer present)
- Different CD (when changer present)
- Select different CD/Insert different CD (when changer present)
- CD title xx (when changer present)
- CD title number xx (when changer present)
- Select title xx (with single CD radio and/or changer and CD already selected)
- Select title number xx (with single CD radio and/or changer and CD already selected)
- Different title/next title (with single CD radio and/or changer and CD already selected)
- Find different title (with single CD radio and/or changer and CD already selected)
- Traffic radio on/Switch on traffic radio/Traffic radio off
- Help/Help CD changer/Help CD player

Cassette commands
When the cassette command has been activated with VCS Cassette/Cassette on/Switch on cassette/Switch cassette on):
- Different title
- Next title
- Find different title
- Search
- Other side
- Wind cassette forward
- Wind cassette back
- Fast forward
- Fast reverse
- Reverse
- Traffic radio on/Switch on traffic radio/Traffic radio off
- Help/Help cassette

A Help function exists which is intended to make operation of the VCS as easy as possible for the user.

The user is in Dialog mode with the telephone and says the word "Help", the VCS reads the most important radio commands aloud. If the user is in the Dialog mode with the cassette stage, he can change the system by saying "Help radio" and the VCS then reads the most important radio commands aloud
