GF07.61-P-3016KE ME-SFI Part Load/full Load Operation, Function
- up to model year 08

Component Identification:

Partial load operation:
When the engine is at operating temperature, optimal exhaust emission values and low-cost fuel consumption are assured with the lambda control.

Full load operation
The maximum engine torque is supplied when the throttle valve is fully open. For this step, extend the injection timing and close the recirculated air flap (maximum boost pressure).

The relevant quantity of fuel is metered to the engine in line with the map. At the accelerator pedal sensor, a slewing range of 10 up to 90 % is defined as partial load and a slewing range of more than approx. 90 % as full load.

The fuel quantity depends on:
^ Air mass
^ Intake manifold air pressure
^ Coolant temperature
^ Engine speed
^ Engine loading request
^ Lambda control
^ Intake air temperature (only in warming-up phase)
^ Atmospheric air pressure (for altitude adaptation)
